SHIPPING POLICIES

Shipping Charges given are estimates only. Until an actual order is packaged for shipment shipping charges are estimates only. For most orders they are accurate. If bulky items are ordered that need to be shipped separately shipping charges will most likely be higher.


Charges
Except as may be noted in a particular items description, customers pay all shipping charges. All shipments are FOB our warehouses or original shipping point in the case of special order or non stocked items.
Shipping costs depend upon the shipping method and option you choose. Please note that shipping charges added during checkout process are estimated shipping charges only.

The shipping rates for most items we sell are based on the weight and size of the item(s). All weights will be rounded up to the next full pound in keeping with the policies of the carrier(s). We charge $1.00 for handling and then the carriers charges. Shipping charges will be adjusted as necessary when your package is shipped. Shipping charges for heavy, bulky or multiple packages may be higher.

Please note that if you order fabric or vinyl and you have ordered supplies, supplies may be shipped in a separate box which will add to the estimated shipping charges.

If exact shipping charges are needed before shipment - Please ask.

Shipping Methods
We ship by UPS, Mail (US Postal Service to Alaska and Hawaii,International) and common carriers (trucking companies).


If we feel there is a better alternate method we will contact you for approval. We try to accommodate your preferred method of shipment.

Unless you specifically instruct us otherwise, we may ship via UPS ground OR Priority Mail, except Alaska and Hawaii, where we ship orders via the U. S. Post Office Priority Mail.  

Aerosol cans and other hazardous materials cannot be shipped by air and some adhesives and cleaners can only be shipped by truck or common carrier.

Once shipped, we are not responsible for delays or late delivery of merchandise in transit.
In most cases, we will ship your order within 24 hours, not including orders placed on weekends.
Unless you specifically instruct us , we will ship your order via UPS ground.

Items stated as "In Stock" may be out temporarily and we will advise you of any backorders. 
 
 
 
DAMAGED PACKAGES
If merchandise arrives damaged: it is best to REFUSE it back to the carrier attempting delivery.
If you must refuse a shipment for any reason, contact us at once so we know what to expect.
If you accept the package make sure any damage it is noted on the carrier's delivery record. If damage is not noted is is usually not possible to file a damage claim.
Save the merchandise AND the original box and packing it arrived in, notify perfectfit.com immediately to arrange for a carrier inspection.

Service Map colors may vary due to differences in hardware and software. This map is a general representation of UPS Ground transit times.
Weekends and holidays are not counted as transit days.
  
 
International Orders/Shipping -    

Do you ship outside the U.S.? At this time we are not taking orders by website for countries other then Canada.

All prices listed are in US Dollars. Please consider the current currency exchange before placing your order.

Canadian Shipments - For Ground shipments, we recommend using mail service to avoid Brokerage Fees charges by UPS. See UPS site for information.



Will I have to pay customs fees on my order?
Your order will probably be charged customs fees (taxes, duties, processing fees, brokerage fees, etc.) when it arrives. Perfect Fit has no control over these fees. If you are not familiar with the customs fees in your country, please check with your local customs office for more information. Perfect Fit has no way of estimating customs fees, taxes, duties, etc. so please do not ask us to do so - we don't have this information.

It is possible that the delivery of your order could be delayed due to customs processing. If your order does not arrive in a reasonable amount of time, you should check with your local customs office to see if they are holding the package for payment of fees. Also, some customs offices will send a separate invoice for your customs fees that could arrive several weeks after you receive your shipment. Please be familiar with the customs laws in your country before you order!
